Dear friends
As most of you would know I've been on island for
the biggest part of the summer and now I'm preparing
to do some live shows to present the new material
I've been recording for my next album in Athens in the past couple of months.
I'm putting a 7 piece band together that includes
some people you know and some you might not know
A couple of friends are coming from Greece to join
us on drums and keyboards as well.
We are going to do 3 shows under the name
J.Kriste (Master of Disguise). (Pomos, Lemesos,
Lefkosia)
The last one will be in Lefkosia part of the
festival 'ta tessera magazia' which triggered the opportunity
to put this band together along with Mode Plagal
from Greece.
For more information I'm attaching a small poster
and press release in Greek and English that you can send
around to friend and get thing known. I would
appreciate that.
So I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at one of
the shows.

It’s
the solo project of Lefteris Moumtzis. Under this name he has
released this first album ‘This is the alternative in 2005. Now
he’s got a new album in the pipeline which is going to be called
‘Girls, Ghosts and Gods’. The album has been recorded in Athens
very recently and it will come out towards the end of the year.
This
summer he is putting together a band to present the material off this
yet unreleased album. The vibe of the music mainly moves between
acoustic
and atmospheric with a lot of outbursts and improvisations. The range
of sounds is quite broad and adventurous and it incorporates elements
from rock and blues as well as folk and medieval and a taste of East.

του Λευτέρη Μουμτζή. Με αυτό το όνομα
έχει
κυκλοφορήσει το πρώτο του
άλμπουμ
‘This
is
the
alternative’
το 2005. Τώρα έχει στα σκαριά ένα
καινούριο
δίσκο που φέρει το
όνομα ‘Girls,
Ghosts
and
Gods’
ο
οποίος ηχογραφήθηκε στην Αθήνα και
θα κυκλοφορήσει προς το τέλος του χρόνου. Αυτό
το καλοκαίρι
φτιάχνει μια μπάντα για
να
παρουσιάσει το υλικό αυτό του
ακυκλοφόρητου ακόμα δίσκου. Το ύφος της
μουσικής κινείται κυρίως
στο ακουστικό,
ατμοσφαιρικό με
αρκετά όμως ξεσπάσματα
και
αυτοσχεδιασμούς και το φάσμα
του
ήχου είναι αρκετά πλατύ και
περιπετειώδες.
Το
γκρουπ απαρτίζουν οι εξής
