Αχιλλέας Περσίδης
Κιθαρίστας και λαουτιέρης. Έχει λάβει μέρος στην Ελληνική
δισκογραφία από το 1987 έως 2007 χαρακτηρίζοντας με τον ήχο του το μουσικό αποτέλεσμα
των εν λόγω δίσκων. Ιδρυτής και δημιουργός του ορχηστικού συνόλου «ΝΟΤΙΟΣ
ΗΧΟΣ», με δυο δισκογραφικές δουλειές, η μια το 1994 με την ονομασία «Νότιος Ήχος,
Αχιλλέας Περσίδης» και η δεύτερη το 1996: «Νότος Ήχος, Σκιά Της Θάλασσας».
Συμμετέχει από το 1978 σε κονσέρτα και μουσικές συνεργασίες
σε Ευρώπη και Αυστραλία, προωθώντας τον Ελληνικό ήχο και το στίγμα της Ελληνικής
μουσικής σκέψης.
Στο Paradise Place στο Πωμο
στις 17 Ιουλίου 2010 ο κιθαρίστας Αχιλλέας Περσίδης θα παίξει στην κιθάρα και
στο λαούτο κομμάτια χαρακτηριστικά του ρεπερτορίου των δυο οργάνων όπως και
προσωπικές του συνθέσεις από την πορεία του συνόλου «Νότιος Ήχος» και άλλες
ακόμα ανέκδοτες συνθέσεις του.

Place είμαστε πολύ χαρούμενοι που θα τον έχουμε
ξανά κοντά μας μετά το πολύ πετυχημένο κονσέρτο μαζί με τον Τσικο (ντραμερ των Pallyria)
στα κρουστά πριν από μερικά χρόνια.

Guitarist
& Lute player. He has taken part in Greek discography from 1987 to 2007 and
he influence with his characteristic play the sound of these recordings. He is
the father and soul of the instrumental group “Notios Ehos” (Southern Sound)
with two recorded projects. The first in 1994 with the title “Notios Ehos,
Achileas Persides”and the
second in 1996 called “Skia tis Thalassas (Sea Shadow). Since 1978
is taking part in many concerts in Europe and Australia
promoting the musical ‘stigma” of Greece. Well known in Cyprus and
his last present in the island was last October when he took part together with
George Xilouris at the Lute Seminars of the University of Nicosia.
He is also
very popular here at Paradise
Place cause of his previous excellent performance with
the percussionist Tsiko, drummer of Pallyria some years back.
We are very glad to have him back and we are looking forward for the night.

on 17 of JuLY 2010
the Guitarist & Lute player Achileas Persides is going to perform characteristic
pieces of the two instruments repertoire, personal compositions from the time
of “Southern Sound” and still unpublished projects.
