ACHILEAS PERSIDES |

Guitarist
& Lute player. He has taken part in Greek discography from 1987 to 2007 and
he influence with his characteristic play the sound of these recordings. He is
the father and soul of the instrumental group “Notios Ehos” (Southern Sound)
with two recorded projects. The first in 1994 with the title “Notios Ehos,
Achileas Persides”and the
second in 1996 called “Skia tis Thalassas"
(Sea Shadow). Since 1978
is taking part in many concerts in Europe and Australia
promoting the musical ‘stigma” of Greece. Well known in Cyprus and
his last present in the island was last October when he took part together with
George Xilouris at the Lute Seminars of the University of Nicosia.
